Consequent to the great development in infrastructure and quality of services with modest performance in quantity of services produced in the previous year 2015, this current year had started with strategies to address the poor performance in indicator output which are as shown below;.

Upgraded and subcontracted facilities to commence service under PBF Contract To improve service coverage by encouraging health workers in the upgraded and subcontracted health facilities to intensify their efforts in service delivery January 2016

Demand Side Financing To facilitate health facilities utilization Yet to commence
Support task shifting Process in family planning To improve the number and skills of service providers In progress
Employment of more verifiers For adequate coverage for coaching and mentoring as well as data verification In progress

WORLD BANK DLI MISSION VISITS.

Inresults-based approaches, funding is linked to pre-agreed results that are defined in the form of indicators. Disbursements only take place once progress in the indicators has been achieved and verified. This places high requirements on the quality of indicators used.
